In biology, parasites are organisms whose vital activity is carried out at the expense of the resources of other, as a rule, more organized forms of life. In everyday terms, this term is commonly used to refer to protozoa and helminths that live in the human body.
At first glance, parasitic invasions in the modern world are a rare and marginal phenomenon. It seems that with the development of medicine, the improvement of hygiene practices and urbanization, they are a thing of the past. This view is somewhat wrong: Internet stories about a "bunch of parasites" really have little to do with reality, but even today there is a high risk of becoming a carrier of unwanted fauna. Pet owners, lovers of exotic food and travel, children and thosewho neglect standard hygiene procedures are particularly susceptible to infection. The most common signs of parasitic infection include:
- skin rashes of unknown origin, dermatitis, acne;
- dyspeptic disorders, heartburn, nausea, sudden weight gain, digestive problems;
- headache and dizziness;
- brittle nails, hair deterioration, premature skin aging;
- deterioration of immunity and resistance to disease, regular herpes outbreaks, colds;
- general deterioration of health: dysthymic phenomena, nervousness, lethargy.
Most often helminths and protozoa live in the digestive organs and liver. Parasites can remain in the body for years almost imperceptibly or, conversely, create tangible problems a month after infection. In one way or another, parasites deplete the human body, destroy the beneficial internal flora, interfere with the absorption of nutrients and destroy the body's systems. Their long stay in the human body threatens with extremely serious health problems, and parasitic invasions in children can lead to marked retardation in physical development and impaired nervous regulation.
Cleaning the body of parasites, most often, requires the help of professional doctors. If you suspect that they are present, you should immediately consult a doctor and start appropriate treatment. They can also speed recovery, provide additional support for drug therapy and prevent infection. The advantage of natural medicines over synthetic ones is less toxicity, cheapness and ease of use. However, it is worth using folk remedies carefully: when making anti-leprosy drugs at home, you should follow the instructions. Too small a dose of active plant material will not have the desired effect and will help the parasites develop resistance to it, and too large can lead to overdose.
Herbs for parasites: list and description
It is quite simple to identify antiparasitic medicinal plants according to their taste: bitter, spicy or sour. The substances that form such flavors in plants create conditions in the human body that are unfavorable to the details of helminths and the simplest conditions.

Wormwood also helps the body quickly get rid of toxins produced by helminths. The herb is quite toxic, so it is better to use in combination with other plants. Wormwood should not be used in ulcerative processes and overweight, as well as in people with weakened liver and children.
Tansy- Like wormwood, it has a paralyzing effect on adult helminths, but is less toxic and has a milder effect. It has choleretic and antiseptic properties, stimulates detoxification.

The result
Natural antiparasitic drugs are suitable for fighting invasions and their consequences. On average, treatment with antiparasitic drugs takes longer than standard drug therapy. Folk remedies have a multifactorial and at the same time milder effect on the body; taking them rarely causes unpleasant consequences, they have fewer contraindications. However, home herbal medicine cannot replace a visit to the doctor; before starting treatment, it is better to seek the advice of a professional.
